Streaming services like Netflix don't really do the trick for me because of the hefty prices and low amount of unseen video. My TV doesn't have optical out (so my TV-decoder is wired directly to it) and my Mac only has analog audio. Also a great app for YouTube on Sonos without a TV is the Sonotube on the official app-/playstore. The SWYH app is not available on macOS or mobile. Selecting the high resolution Neil Young on Qobuz and streaming it to the Sonos Port, the music is downsampled and not bit perfect. There's just one more thing, and that's being unable to connect my MacBook to the TV and Playbar. Easily connect speakers over WiFi to create the sound system you want, and expand it any time.

I got used to my Sonos, fast, and it's not leaving the house. The un-official SoundClound integration to the Sonos app made me change my mind! I can listen to all my music via my laptop, Spotify and SoundCloud and I can totally live without the 8yo's falling on their faces with an American "OMG!"-yell on the background 🙂.
I'm afraid this means installing my LG 5.1 home cinema again, besides my somewhat expensive Sonos 😞.

There's no option on out android phones, iphones, mac's and windows laptops to play a single youtube sound via the new Playbar. I just got my Playbar today and I think it's good, especially for Spotify and listening music. On the Mac, all you need to do is look for the AirPlay icon whenever you’re watching YouTube videos in Safari, click on it, and switch the audio source. If you have a Sonos Music System, and own a Mac, then you need to get this app. The interface is very intuitive and is a joy to use.
